Today Is The First Day Of The Rest Of This Blog...

Hello!
This is the official blog of the Sisterhood Of Ahel Adom's Green Temple.
The Sisterhood is a women's spirituality temple operating out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. We gather together at least once a month, maybe more, to discuss Women's Mysteries, different Gods/Goddesses and other topics appropriate.

The Green Temple is a sub-group within the Sisterhood. Priestesses whose mission is to keep our meeting and rituals environmentally friendly and to create works outside of our Temple to the benefit of our Mother Earth.

Current Active Priestesses:
  •      Red Orchard
  •      Shael Emese
These two Priestesses will both update this blog with the things we do and the things that need doing. We will also give tips and lessons on how to Green-Up your own life and how to mitigate as much of our foot-print on this Earth as we can reasonable hope. We will also keep you updated on other websites that have more information on how to be environmentally friendly.

RedO and Shael are both funny and down-to-earth women and you can expect much humor and irreverence throughout our blogs.

Things done this year:
- Purchased re-usable plates and utensils for use by the Sisterhood.
- Recycle any items not able to be re-used
- Created Altars out in the world using all natural materials to honor the Earth and the Goddess.
- Earth Day Workday at John U Lloyd Park

Things we plan to do this year:
- Regular posts to this blog
- Update and Maintain the Unitarian Universalist Church of Ft. Lauderdale's Butterfly Garden (Creation of which was last year's project!)
- Create natural altars out and about in our cities
